Bring a question pack.
Curate your categories ahead of time, then bring the finished file to your room. The host checks the cards before play.

Four categories. Twenty-eight clues.
Each category needs five normal clues at difficulties 1–5, one Fraud statement/correction, and one Round Robin challenge. Fraud replaces one randomly chosen normal clue, leaving a 24-card board.
- Open the template in a text editor and replace every placeholder. Save it as UTF-8 JSON, with a
.jsonextension. - Keep
formatasjack-of-all-trivia-packandformat_versionas the integer1. Give your pack a title and content-version label; author and description are optional. - Give the four categories distinct names, up to 80 characters each. Their order is the board's column order.
- For each normal clue, supply an integer difficulty, question, and answer. Each difficulty must appear once in that category.
- For Fraud, write a statement with exactly one mistaken fact. Its answer must identify and correct that error; it can appear at any row and is worth double points.
- For Round Robin, write a challenge with many valid answers. Give the host clear acceptance criteria and at least eight examples; players must answer without repeats.
A few file checks.
Questions and answers must each contain 3–2,000 characters. Duplicate questions are rejected, ignoring case. Titles and author names allow 200 characters, descriptions 2,000, and content-version labels 100. Optional source text allows 1,000 characters; use a reliable web link when available. The host still checks the facts.
Files must be 256 KiB or smaller. Your room can save 20 distinct imported packs. Reimporting the same content and metadata reuses its entry; changing either saves a separate version. Changing a title/version label alone does not reset ratings for identical question content. JSON indentation and key order do not matter.
What happens to your pack?
Saving a file keeps it available to this room through rematches and host recovery. The current host can download it to share with friends. Every saved pack is available for administrator review, whether or not you request it. Only administrator approval makes it available to other rooms through the shared bank.
Custom games use your curated content. They never generate questions. AI generation is available only for Original recipe and Star Trek when configured by the server administrator.
Saving a pack does not select it or start play. Return to the picker, use the selection, then click Start Game to review all its question and answer cards. Rejection keeps it saved; select it again to start a fresh review.
